Final Cut Pro export

When exporting to Final Cut Pro, SpeedScriber converts the transcript for a file into keyword ranges. To select how keyword ranges are created, choose one of the following options:

  • Auto (default): The transcript is split into keyword ranges according to punctuation or where there is a gap of 1 second or more between words.
  • Sentence: Each sentence in the transcript is a separate keyword range.
  • Speaker Range: Each speaker range in the transcript is a separate keyword range.

A new keyword range will always be created when a paragraph break is found, for all modes above.

If you only want SpeedScriber to create keyword ranges for words you have highlighted as a Favorite range, then enable the Favorite Ranges Only checkbox.

Miscellaneous

When opening a file, SpeedScriber checks if the linked media files are available. If any media file is missing then a warning message will be shown, unless the checkbox is disabled.

By default, SpeedScriber will automatically start playback after any punctuation or word editing. This can be disabled by unchecking Auto Play After Editing
